MVPBA is sensitive to families who otherwise may not be able to participate due to financial hardships (ill family member, job loss, single parent, etc.) We value your participation and as such have a process to apply for a limited number of financial aid awards to assist families.
Families interested in financial aid can submit this online application and applicants will be notified of the amounts granted within two (2) weeks.
The deadline to apply for financial aid for the spring season is last day of registration. The deadline to apply for financial aid for the MVP Tournament Teams is two weeks after the final tryout date.
NOTE:
- Items not covered by scholarship: Travel expenses, entry fees, and baseball/fastpitch gear/equipment.
- Volunteer requirements: We require those requesting financial aid to participate in an additional two (2) hours of volunteer opportunities on top of the mandatory two (2) required by the league. In all, a total of four (4) volunteer hours must be completed by end of the season.
- Player participation requirements: Players that receive financial aid are required to attend a minimum of 90% of scheduled practices and games.
- Team placement: In the event a division is waitlisted, placement is first come first served based off date of registration. The date this application is submitted will count as date of registration.
FINANCIAL AID REQUEST INFORMATION SHALL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL AND WILL ONLY BE SHARED WITH THE FINANCIAL AID COMMITTE AND NOT THE FULL BOARD.
