Fill out the application form below to be considered to perform at The Narrative's Events.

You don't have to be an artist or band to apply - Songwriters working 'behind the scenes' are encouraged to apply too, as well as instrumental composers and poets!

Songwriters at all career stages are encouraged to apply, and we host a variety of events and reserve certain slots for writers of all levels, whether you're an established writer with a number of hits to your name, or whether you're just starting out on your journey as a songwriter. 

Since The Narrative is a Songwriter Showcase, please keep your line-up to only the core songwriters of your band/project. 1 instrument & 1 vocal is our usual format for our monthly 'songwriters rounds', but if you have multiple 'core' songwriters in your project please include the instrumentation in your application.

Do your research before applying! Come along to an event, introduce yourself, check out our socials & videos of past events on our YouTube Channel. 

Please note: we receive a large number of applications, and the event only takes place once a month. We will keep all applications on file so if you don't hear back straight away, don't worry. We listen to and consider all applications, and do our best to be as accommodating as possible. If you have any updates after filling in the form, feel free to apply again in future with new information (e.g. new material, songwriting credits, etc.)

THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL VIDEO. Phone recordings are totally fine, whether it's from a live show or you've recorded it at home. Please just make sure that the audio is clear and that the video accurately represents the style of performance that you would bring to The Narrative.
