End Gun Violence Michigan: Community Education Volunteers
We have new gun violence laws in Michigan, but very few people know about them! We can’t expect people to follow laws they've never heard of.

If we’re going to really save lives, we have to make sure that the power of these laws is at everyone’s fingertips.

So we’ve started a community educator program.

Volunteer community educators will be trained to go out into their own community, and educate the public about extreme risk protection orders, safe storage, and domestic violence.

We’ll train you to present to your own school, congregation, youth group, or neighbors.

You don’t have to be an expert on every aspect of gun violence. You just have to understand the basics, and we’ll work with you to make sure your events and presentations are a success.

Community educators meet every other Thursday via Zoom. Sign up below to be invited to the next meeting!
