Berk’s Nest Assistant Producer 2018 - Application Form
Thanks for wanting to join the Berk's Nest team this year. We value the people we work with, treat them well and pay them fairly, and make sure everyone has a brilliant time. Hopefully this application form isn’t too complicated, but if you have any questions or problems do get in touch at

Our Assistant Producer is responsible for supporting the company's producers and ensuring that all our Fringe shows go (as much as possible) to plan. You'll be a friendly face on the team, and will happily grab a coffee for an act or jump on a bus to Ikea or Homebase if someone's set has fallen apart. You'll be quick thinking and a problem solver. You might have experience in show tech, marketing arts events, or simply just love comedy - no experience of the Fringe is necessary but is preferable.

Role details:
- Responsible to: Company's Producers (Owen Donovan, Jenny Kassner, and Maria Gurevich)
- Pay: £1,000
- Accommodation is provided in centrally located flat (living with the company's producers and street team manager)
- Dates: July 28th - August 26th.
- Hours: Flexible, but largely based around a day where our shows begins at 3.30pm and end at 11pm (this may vary day to day). The team will typically get together about 11am to discuss the day ahead and what needs to get done, though some days you might be needed earlier or later. The Fringe is an unusual workplace with no set hours, but we want our team to enjoy themselves, see shows that they want to see, and have their own time to relax and get away form it all.
- Benefits: Venue passes for Pleasance & Underbelly, tickets to shows, merchandise & anything else we can get our hands on.
