Hey guys! Welcome to Hack Club's first official meeting. Because it is the first meeting, we will not be doing any programming stuff just yet. We're just going to introduce ourselves (board members) and have you answer a few questions. Here is a quick summary of what to expect in this club:

- Every meeting will start right after school and end at 4:30 every Friday. . (You DO NOT have to stay the whole time, though, it is recommended that you stay for at least 30 minutes) Some meetings will be canceled or changed

- Every meeting will start with a form similar to this. You will sign in to your gmail and open the form that will have been sent you. Every meeting will be a different form. We will know who has attended the meeting though you signing into and filling out the form. The form will give you a summary of what the meeting will be about

- Starting next week, we will be handing STEM-related scholarships. These will be posted on the forms and on remind

- You DO NOT have to be good at programming to be in this club. Even the cabinet members know very little about how to program.

- This club will be focused more towards having fun than actually learning.

- We know that everyone will learn at their own pace. Don't be discouraged if you feel that you are falling behind. If you ever get stuck on a program, just ask Mr. Brown

- It is recommended that you try learning at home through YouTube videos or Google

- You will be mainly working with a partner due to the lack of robots we have.

- If you have not signed up yet, please Text @hacklphs to 81010. We will be texting important information and reminders regarding Hack Club such as canceled/rescheduled meetings and scholarships.

- If you have any questions about anything, ask Mr. Brown or Alex

We are interested in creating a shirt for Hack Club members only, but we have no current design. If you want, create an original design and show it to Alex. This design could be done on paper or online through paper. There is no specific deadline, but the quicker we have the design, the quicker we can start making shirts.
