Unless U is a non-profit organization committed to fostering the growth of adults with disabilities academically, spiritually, physically, socially, and vocationally. We provide a college-like experience for our students through academic, social, and extracurricular settings. Our services create an environment that promotes independence and social flourishing.

Operating Information:
- Hours: 8:30AM-3:15PM (early and after school care is available)
- Location: 737 Chestnut Street, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216
- Weekly Tuition Cost:
     - Five days  -  $167
     - Three days  -  $105
     - Two days  -  $86
     (Tuition assistance may be available)


Below are a few details about Post Place at Unless U:
Named after the Post Family, Post Place is an Unless U program for students with multi-abilities. At Post Place, students are provided with small group instruction focusing on academics, life skills, social skills, and fine arts activities. These students receive services to grow in their social, educational, and emotional skills, while most importantly, learning more about the incredible love that Christ has for us all.

Operating Information:
- Hours: 9:00AM-2:00PM 
- Location: 2665 Hackberry Road, Vestavia, AL 35226
Weekly Tuition Cost:
     - Three days  -  $185
     - Two days  -  $105
     - One day  -  $86 
      (Tuition assistance may be available) 

Unless U and Post Place shall accept only young adults whose capabilities enable them to benefit from the program, and for those whom either program is adequately staffed and equipped to provide care.​ Unless U and Post Place do NOT tolerate bullying, self harm, or dangerous behavior. Unless U and Post Place shall not admit or maintain any young adult whose needs we cannot appropriately meet or whose behavior would be dangerous for other students in the program.

Unless U reserves the right to place students where they believe will best serve the needs of the student, their family, and our organization. Unless U staff will make observations and regularly conduct student assessments to guarantee that each student is receiving the appropriate services from either campus. Unless U may make recommendations to students’ families to transfer to either campus for the following semester.
Our classes are always age appropriate, respectful of student ability, and tailored to student interest. However, understanding a student’s academic and social ability level helps us know how they might fit into the student body and factors into class placement.

Tuition Assistance may be available on a sliding scale based on family need and degree of student fit within our program. A staff member will discuss options with you during the interview and provide any necessary forms to complete tuition assistance application.
