Greetings! We are delighted you are interested in receiving Our Whole Lives facilitator training in grades 7-9 and 10 -12! Training will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1050 East 23rd Street, Eugene, OR 97405. Cost of the training is $250 and includes lunch and dinner on day 1, lunch and dinner on day 2 and coffee, tea and snacks throughout the training. Checks may be made out and sent to First Congregational Church at the above address with "OWL Training" and name of person participating in the training on the memo line, or you can pay online at: https://fcceugene.breezechms.com/give/online (select OWL Program from the drop down menu next to General Pledge). Your registration is complete when payment has been received, at which time a confirmation email will be sent.

Training begins Friday at noon and ends Sunday at 12:30. A more detailed schedule will be sent prior to the training weekend.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. There is required pre-training work that takes about 3.5 hours to complete. You will be sent information on this about two weeks prior to the training.

2. All participants must bring with them a copy of the latest editions of OWL curricula for grades 7-9 (2014) and 10-12 (2022)*. These may be purchased IN ADVANCE from the UUA bookstore at https://www.uuabookstore.org/Our-Whole-Lives-C1341.aspx or UCC resources at https://www.uccresources.com/products/our-whole-lives-curriculum?variant=15492555571263. Participants may call UCC Resources at 1-800- 537-3394 and let them know you are attending an Our Whole Lives/Sexuality and Our Faith training to request 25% off your materials at the time of ordering.

*At this time, the curriculum for grades 10-12 is out of print and no longer available for purchase. The new edition will soon go to the printer. Our hope is that it will be available for purchase in time for this training, or at the very least, available to pre-order in which case you will be sent a PDF. Either way, this training will prepare you to facilitate both levels of Our Whole Lives. We will keep you updated on the status of the availability of the 10-12 curriculum.
