As a team member, you will be expected to stay up-to-date on service guidelines.  Online Outreach has outlined these guidelines in the SOP's.  You can find it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y47w_f6zlkRZpam12A350gU_AiaCdBoh/view?usp=sharing.  It is advised that you download that document and read through it.  Trainings take place regularly.  During the onboarding process, someone will reach out to you and get you all the information you need in order to get started.  Thank you for your willingness.
Would you like to do a lead-share at a meeting? *
Being in NA means you never have to use again, even if you want to.  Thanks for agreeing to share on the online platform.Just a heads up, our literature says that alcohol is a drug and no drug deserve special recognition. With that said, the terms sober & sobriety refer to alcohol only. Words do matter. This is why, in NA & the online platform, it is asked that we use 'addict' to refer to ourselves (not alcoholic/addict), 'addiction' to refer to our disease and 'clean' (not clean & sober either) to refer to our substance free state of mind and body. For the same reason, we live in recovery not sobriety. This comment is not an attempt to govern or be controversial, but an attempt to help keep the NA message clear - where there may be anything up to 50 addicts at the meeting and to educate about NA and its traditions. Similarly, we ask that you avoid mentioning specific substances, treatment centers, or religions.  Thank you for your willingness for being part of the speaker panel.  We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.  Please indicate below that you agree to use the language as described when performing a lead-share at one of our meetings.
