NJ Reading Teacher Recognition
In partnership with the International Literacy Association, the NJ Literacy Association will be recognizing the best literacy teachers in our state. Do you want to nominate someone who is making a difference in the lives of readers and writers? NJLA will celebrate a final pick and nominate this individual for the Regie Routman Teacher Recognition Grant. Nominations are due by November 30th. You can even nominate yourself! Criteria: The finalist must be an ILA member teaching in a school where at least 60% of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Candidates must be teaching in grades K-8.

Thank you for nominating a NJ Reading Teacher! If selected, NJLA will ask that you provide a project proposal to impact readers/writers. In addition, you will be asked to provide a personal statement and 3 letters of recommendation. NJLA will work with you to submit necessary paperwork to ILA. We look forward to celebrating teachers in our great state!
