Microteaching Facilitator Application, 2018 - 2019
Please complete this form if you are interested in becoming a CTL Microteaching Facilitator in 2018-19. Microteaching Facilitators run sessions in which 3-4 participants deliver short samples of instruction and receive feedback from the facilitator and other session participants. Facilitators run a structured process and use materials created at the CTL; sometimes they also capture and replay video footage during the session. After a session, they author and distribute a brief follow-up report. For details about the CTL Microteaching service, see http://ctl.columbia.edu/support/microteaching/

After two hours of paid training, Microteaching Facilitators will run sessions during orientations on August 31 and September 1, and at other points during the 2018 - 2019 academic year. Hired Microteaching Facilitators are expected to run around five sessions during the academic year. A session requires around 4 hours of work, paid at $25/hour.

Applications will be reviewed on August 15, 2018. Preference for Microteaching Facilitators is given to alums of the following CTL fellowships: Lead Teaching Fellows, Teagle Fellows, Peer Teaching Consultants, and Teaching Observation Fellows.
