Dr. Chuanwei Zhang, Professor, University of Texas at Dallas
Dr. Chuanwei Zhang received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China. He is a Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research interests include theoretical ultra-cold atoms, photonics, quantum and solid-state physics. He has published over 110 articles. He was a recipient of DARPA Young Faculty Award and was elected as a Fellow of American Physical Society.
Mr. Jie Song, LogicMonitor CoFounder, Entrepreneur and VC Advisor
Mr. Jie Song is the Cofounder and Senior VP of Engineering of WEBGAP Inc, a leading Browser Isolation software company. He is a mentor of startups at Mucker Capital, and an adviser at AIList Venture Capital. Prior to WEBGAP, Mr. Song was Cofounder and CTO of LogicMonitor Inc, a leading IT infrastructure performance monitoring platform vendor. LogicMonitor was acquired by Vista Equality Partner in 2018.
Dr. Logan Song, Principal Cloud Architect, UTD Adjunct Professor
Dr. Logan Song is a principle cloud security architect and adjunct professor in the University of Texas at Dallas. After his PhD graduation, Dr. Song worked in Wall Street for 8 years, EMC for 12 years, Amazon Web Services for 3 years. He is a certified technology expert for VMware, EMC, Cisco, AWS and Microsoft Azure. Dr. Song has been servicing local societies & communities. He is a BOD member for Tsinghua Alumni Association. He is the co-founder and first president of DFW Chinese IT Association.
Dr. Ning Su, Vice President, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd
Dr. Ning So is the Head/VP of Advanced Technical Service of Reliance Jio, leading an SME team focusing on emerging technology R&D and architecture design in wireless, wireline, and Cloud networking. Before joining Jio, Ning So was the CEO and co-founder of Vinci Systems, a software company specializing in end-to-end comprehensive Cloud infrastructure solutions. Ning is a pioneer, leader and main contributor to communication industry’s SDN and NFV revolutions.
Dr. Zhilin Zhang, Principal Data Scientist, AT&T
Dr. Zhilin Zhang, received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engi. from University of California at San Diego. Currently he is a principal data scientist at AT&T, leading ML projects on recommendation systems, look-alike models, and customer behavior prediction models. Before AT&T, Dr. Zhang was a research manager/engineer at Samsung America, developing ML algorithms for smart-home, IoT, and wearable healthcare. He has published about 50 papers with over 3000 citations. He is a committee member for IEEE Bio-Imaging and Signal Processing, and an IEEE Senior Member.
