Hello there! Are you on spring break and terribly bored because you can't go anywhere or do anything cool? Are you tired of talking to your friends digitally instead of in person? Do your parents constantly say things like, "Go outside! It's beautiful!" or "Why don't you take the dogs for a walk?" or the dreaded, "If you're really bored, I can find plenty for you to do around the house!" Yikes. Friends, it's time for an escape. An escape room, that is.
This virtual escape room was created by Sam Boehle, Youth Programming Coordinator at Pekin Public Library in Pekin, Illinois. If you have questions while you're figuring out your next steps during this experience, please email Sam at firstname.lastname@example.org
or send a message to the PPL Teen Scene Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pplteenscene
We have lots of virtual programming happening while we're closed during the shelter in place order! Just check out our website (www.pekinpubliclibrary.org
) or find us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/pekinlibrary
Grab something to write with and a piece of paper, because a few of these puzzles will need some figuring! Feel free to (virtually) join in with your friends to complete this escape room, try it with your family (Come on, why not?), or do it on your own. Have fun and leave some feedback when you're done if you don't mind. Thank you and have fun!
