THRU-r Ambassador Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Ambassador for our community! As an Ambassador, you will be helping new/aspiring long-distance hikers prepare for their treks. 

Many experienced hikers want to "pay it forward" after trail - and this is a great way to do so with a fun hiker team! Application questions and more information about the program is below:

Ambassador & Trail Family+ Perks
As an Ambassador, you would get:
  • Free Trail Family+ Membership
  • Team meetups with all of the THRU-r Ambassadors
  • A platform to share your knowledge/pay it forward
  • A deeper connection with experienced hikers and new hikers
  • Opportunities to opt-in to special projects
  • Gear testing with our sponsors
  •  A feature on our "Ambassador Team" page

How To Qualify To Be An Ambassador
  • Be an experienced long-distance hiker (section or thru-hiker)
  • Attend some monthly online meetups as an "expert" hiker (when you are available)
  • Contribute to the Trail Family Forums as an "expert" hiker (answer hiker questions when you are available) 
  • Optional: Provide a video(s) to add to our video library (see topics below). Videos aren't required to be edited (we can do that!)
  • Optional: Speak as a guest in our online or in person events on a topic you love
  • Optional: Be a recurring podcast guest
  • Optional: Social media content creation & takeovers
