HTMC Clubhouse Resident Caretaker Application
HTMC (a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers) seeks a  clubhouse resident caretaker (or couple) for a period of one year, with possible extension. Resident caretaker(s) have a private bedroom, and the rest of the clubhouse is shared space, belonging to and available to all members to use and enjoy.  

The current term of residence is from March - March, but the clubhouse committee will accept applications at any time. Resident caretaker applicants must be HTMC members in good standing, and be able to pay rent equivalent to the members' overnight rate.  Resident caretakers are expected to maintain a physical presence, foster good relations with neighbors, and create a friendly and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Resident caretakers will also be expected to:  
- Comply with the HTMC Standing Rules and Bylaws, especially those pertaining to the clubhouse
- Abide by the HTMC Code of Conduct, and serve as a role model to clubhouse visitors
- Remind visitors to sign in and to follow clubhouse rules
- Keep the upstairs and downstairs areas clean and uncluttered
- Conserve water and electricity
- Perform yard work (pruning, raking, watering) weekly or as needed to maintain the grounds.
- Put out and bring in trash, recycle and green bins weekly
- Forward mail to designated recipients as needed
- Purchase cleaning/maintenance supplies as needed and submit bills to the Board of Directors
- Co-organize quarterly clubhouse work days with the Property Maintenance Committee chair
- Coordinate responsibilities for monthly events with Event chair
- Prepare a monthly report to include a photograph of that month’s sign-in sheet, a short summary of activities, repair and maintenance suggestions, and any other issues arising.  

Although HTMC has a clubhouse maintenance committee, it is helpful if the resident caretaker can work on projects and/or make small repairs as needed (after receiving clearance from clubhouse maintenance committee). All resident caretakers serve at the pleasure of the Clubhouse Committee, and will receive a performance evaluation midway through the annual residency term.
