Get ready to dig in, design, and create! In this hands-on floriculture workshop, participants will explore the art and science of flowers by designing their own hanging basket using key design principles. Then, they’ll get a little messy while crafting seed balls and discovering the powerful benefits of native plants for pollinators and the environment. To top it off, participants will learn how to properly prepare and present cut flowers for the fair. Whether you’re a budding gardener or a flower enthusiast, this workshop is the perfect place to grow your skills and creativity!
Fair Entry: Participants will have a variety of cultivars so that they could be individually entered in cut flower classes. Participants will be given plant identification materials.
