Description: Two millennia of interdisciplinary debates over the nature and causes of happiness, meaningful experiences, and a life well-lived. Ancient Asia and Greece to contemporary Positive Psychology. Global, national, personal, and spiritual dimensions. Human agency and impactful choices in processes of societal and individual change. The course is unconventional with hands-on assignments and exercises such as gratitude journals and meditation.
