When you are comfortably social dancing Collegiate Shag and you are up for taking your dancing to the next level, this is where you need to be! With a high focus on technique, these classes will have you increase your speed, improve your basics and will give you a great number of moves and variations to play with.

You do not need a partner to sign up for our classes, though it will help in securing your spot if you sign up as a couple.

Swing dancing is a very energetic activity. It is very likely to get sweaty while dancing. Please bring a towel and/or a fan, maybe an extra shirt.


This block will have ten classes, on Thursday nights: December 12 until February 27 (Dec 26 and Jan 2 are off).
19:30-20:30 Collegiate Shag level 1: Oompa Loompa
20:30-21:30 Collegiate Shag level 2: Do-Si-Do

Classes take place at the Key Town Swing Studio, Stationsweg 31 in Leiden. This is the former Red Carpet Lounge, right next to the Central Station.

All our regular classes are €10 per class. This course consists of ten classes, bringing the total to €100. Adding a second course will give you a 25% discount on that course. Adding a third or more will give you a 50% discount on those courses.

1. Filling in this form does not guarantee your admission. We will inform you about your admission status depending on the total number of registrants and - in case of partnered classes - a good balance between leaders and followers.
2. When registering with a partner, both leader and follower need to fill in a separate form.
