'Ori Tahiti Workshops by Heiata

This September, we are in for a treat as the Founder and Principal of 'Ori Tahiti Singapore heads to our sunny island for a series of workshops!

Heiata will be here to refine our 'Ori Tahiti basics, as well as teach special 2-hour basics, o'tea and aparima workshops that are designed to help us all become better dancers. Heiata has learned her craft from master teachers in Tahiti established 'Ori Tahiti Singapore to spread her passion for Tahitian dance and culture. Workshop details:

>> Tues, 3 Sept 2019: 'Ote'a basics <<
- Review the basics, correct bad habits and improve ‘Ori Tahiti technique. Learn and understand the meaning of an ‘ote’a.
- Venue: The Substation dance studio (45 Armenian street, #02-01, SG 179936)

>> Weds, 4 Sept 2019: 'Ote'a choreography <<
- Use the skills that you’ve learned in a new ‘ote’a choreo.
- Venue: The Substation dance studio (45 Armenian street, #02-01, SG 179936)

>> Thur, 5 Sept 2019: Aparima basics <<
- Review the basics, correct bad habits and improve dance technique. Learn and understand the meaning of an 'aparima.
- Venue: The Substation dance studio (45 Armenian street, #02-01, SG 179936)

>> Fri, 6 Sept 2019: Aparima choreography <<
- Demonstrate what you’ve learned in new ‘aparima choreography
- The Studio (112 Middle Rd, #07-01 Midland House, Singapore 188970)

All classes will be held from 7pm - 9pm.

Slots are limited so, book early to get early bird prices! Prices will increase after 16 June 2019. Please note the venue changes too.

Suitable for ladies 16 years old and above.
Participants need to bring a towel, bottle of water and pareu (or sarong).
