UWGB Freshwater Educator Paddle 2026
Join us for a Freshwater Educator Paddle on the Oconto River! Staff from UW-Green Bay, Oconto County Land Conservation, and UW Extension Lakes will host some time on the water to learn all things aquatic plants. All formal and informal educators are invited to attend this free paddle event.

Date: Wednesday, July 15 (please hold Thursday, July 16 as a rain date in the event of a weather delay)
Time: 9:00 AM- 12:30 PM
Location: Oconto, Wisconsin

Canoes and kayaks will be provided at the launch site, therefore space is limited. Life jackets will be required to be worn while on the water and will be provided, or bring your own if you have one you like. We will send out detailed directions, information about what to bring/wear, and an agenda via email in early July to all registrants.

Sign up today- registration is free and the deadline to sign up is Wednesday, July 1. We look forward to seeing you on the water!
