The purpose of the Properties Committee is to gather information and inquiries of historic properties within the county and provide recommendations to the board if involvement would be beneficial to HSF. The committee may also be engaged with properties that HSF has interest in such as work days, sale of property, property management, etc.and provide recommendations to the board.
The purpose of the Education/General Assistance Committee is to provide information to the community about historical events and properties, as well as provide general assistance to property owners interested in historic preservation, historic tax credits, etc.
The purpose of the Events/Fundraising Committee is to plan fundraisers, annual meetings, and other events for the organization.
The purpose of the Marketing/Promotion Committee is to raise visibility of HSF's mission and work. This may include social media, press releases, email updates, and/or collaboration with other organizations in the community.
