Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya in his stotra “Bhaja Govindam” tells about the state of ignorance of people. People often crave for wealth, get trapped in samsara due to lust, anger and greed. They never seek for atma gyan  and never ask the question to themselves “Who am I ?”. They are unable to recognize their true nature. Hence Adi Shankaracharya says “Read a little Gita and always recite Vishnu Sahasranama because there is no other way to cross the Bhavasagar except chanting the names of God. If you do not do this then “Punarapi Jananam 
Punarapi Maranam”

which means  “Birth again , Death again, Again to be born in mother’s womb, Again It becomes really difficult to cross this infinite ocean of samsara” 

Today is Papankusha Ekadashi. Let us all chant - “Bhaja Govindam Bhaja Govindam ”

 Govindam Bhajamoodhamte. Naamsmaranadnyamupayam, nahi pashyamo bhavatarne

Worship Govinda, chant the name of Govinda, love Govinda because there is no other way to cross this ocean of bhava sagar except by chanting the name of God
