The programming department will include a training portion during the meeting, take-home assignments, and workshop time. As a department member, you will be expected spend time outside of department meetings learning, working on projects, and teaching and helping others. Our primary focus will be learning and applying the tools necessary to develop the Thorium simulator controls platform.
The skills you will learn as part of the programming department have real-world application and are the same skills that professionals use to create the complex websites you see and use every day. Participating in the Programming Department will jump-start you into a rewarding career or a useful hobby.
