Request for a Critical China Scholars Teach-in
The Critical China Scholars (CCS) is a network of scholars deeply concerned with the mounting tensions between the United States, China, and the world. We believe scholars of China have an increasingly important role to play in analyzing this phenomenon. In the spirit of solidarity, we seek to add our voices as academics who have long engaged with China and Chinese people. We believe in the importance of political education in understanding the current conjuncture and in informing actions.

In 2022, we are offering free teach-ins (1.5-2 hours long) to any group or network interested in learning more about China, its society, economy and social movements, and the conflicts between US and China. We will review the requests and make offers to the best of our availability and capacity.
