Virtual Slam Poetry Submissions
Calling all poets! We are accepting submissions to a virtual "Night of Spoken Word" presented by NextStage Theatre Company. This open call invites all levels of experience, all types of original poetry, and ALL humans.
SUBMISSIONS
Please review this list of ACCEPTABLE submissions:
* 1-3 minute self-taped video of an original poem performed by you
* 1-3 minute snippet of an existing/past poetry performance (like Button Poetry/YouTube)
* 1 or 2 TikToks of an ORIGINAL poem performed by you (NO lip-syncing to someone else’s sound)
Please do not submit videos longer than 3 minutes.

SCHEDULE
All selected poets will need to commit to 2-3 Zoom meetings before the show on February 15th based on performer availability.
The live production will run on February 15th
COMPENSATION
All performers will split a share of ticket sales and 100% of the NextStage performer tip jar.
