Do you have any particular skills or services that might contribute to the on-going maintenance and enjoyment of the hall? Examples include painting, gardening, cleaning, stone wall repair, electrical or plumbing skills, musical skills, etc.
As part of the Government’s Resilient Communities initiative [www.readyscotland.org], the Committee is compiling a register of Members who might consider themselves particularly at risk in event of an emergency such as a power cut or snow storm, and so might benefit from additional community contact and support. Would you like to be considered for such a register?

The Committee is also compiling a local ‘asset register’ of individuals that might be able to help in the event of such an emergency. This might include, for example, checking on a neighbour, clearing snow, offering the use of a generator, or driving people to hospital appointments in a 4x4. Are you willing to be contacted in the event of an emergency to provide appropriate help in the community?

If you have a particular skill or resource that you might offer in an emergency (eg. a 4x4, a quad bike, a generator, or a strong back and a shovel!) please let us know.
Please be aware that photographs of events in and around the hall may be used for marketing of the hall. If you would rather NOT appear in any photos used for such purposes, please advise the Committee.
