Stop Oakland from Investing in the Wall
Thank you for your interest in Councilmember Abel Guillén's effort to keep the City of Oakland from doing business with any company or organization involved in building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

It is estimated that the wall would cost between $15 billion and $21 billion. We believe scarce taxpayer dollars should be invested in education, health care, and infrastructure instead of an unneeded and unworkable barrier. Let us know your thoughts, and sign up below to join Councilmember Guillén in the fight to stop the wall.

The legislation will be heard by Oakland's Finance & Management Committee on March 14th before going to the full council. Email the Council at and let them know you don't want your tax dollars used to support Trump's wall!

Should the City of Oakland withhold its contracts and taxpayer dollars from companies that are involved in building Trump's border wall?
Would you or your organization publicly endorse Oakland's effort to boycott businesses involved in building the wall?
