WHAT IS ASFALT?

ASFALT is a free multi-day urban festival, promoting street culture in the broad sense. The event provides a platform for our urban talents, from freerunners to street artists, from breakers to BMX'ers, from skaters to rappers and dancers, from basketball players to street soccer players, to showcase, further develop and connect. ASFALT is an initiative of EventFlanders in cooperation with the City of Ghent, in the framework of European Youth Capital 2024.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THE HHU FESTIVAL?

No age categories; open festival to other concepts; teams only; uniting judges from different dance circuits; festival edition (no selection for Europeans or World champs)

Deadline registration: 31/08/2024

CATEGORIES: 

Small crew (5-9 people) - NO LIMITATION IN AGE

Megacrew (10-25 people) - NO LIMITATION IN AGE

(you can participate in 2 categories)

ENTRANCE SPECTATORS/DANCERS

Dancers: €15,- per dancer (no matter how many categories)

Spectators: FREE festival

WHAT'S THE PRIZE
- invite & free participation for winners at Hiphop Unite Belgium 23/03/2025
- Prize money: 1000 euro's each category!
