NJCAHT Legislative Committee
The Legislative Committee works to create and support legislation to help end human trafficking in New Jersey.

Our work is nonpartisan, and we are careful to limit any bill lobbying to the amount allowed under 501c3 operational rules.
We also undertake advocacy efforts that are not lobbying, that among other things help to ensure proper implementation of enacted legislation.

Legislative Committee meetings take place monthly on the 3rd or 4th Thursday of each month from 11am-12pm via conference call. There may occasionally be evening conference calls for those who cannot participate in daytime calls.

If you submit a form to join the Legislative Committee you should expect to hear back from a team member within 3 business days. As we're all volunteers it's possible that longer delays might occur, so please email info@njhumantrafficking.org if you haven't heard back.

Thank you for your interest in participating in our work.
