This lecture aims to promote a better understanding of the prospective advantages and drawbacks associated with deep seabed mining, pinpoint the crucial concerns and obstacles essential in formulating a comprehensive policy and regulatory framework for deep-sea activities in the Philippines, and encourage an open discussion among stakeholders and scholars in the field.
