Eanes for Equity Book Club
In a world where global cultural mixing is the norm rather than the exception, we are given the opportunity to gain a 3-dimensional view of the world by interacting more intentionally with our neighbors.
Join us for a 4 week book study of Third-culture Kids by David Pollock and Ruth Van Reken where we can learn about the benefits and challenges of living and raising children cross-culturally.
Through discussion and in sharing our personal stories, we will have the opportunity to know and be known by one another, move beyond old stereotypes and boundaries, and learn how to bring our gifts of diversity to the community.
Please indicate your preferences as to which discussion series you'd like to join over Zoom (Spaces are limited and both Bi-weekly series will cover the same information)
Please share which discussion series you prefer.
Thursdays 10-11am: October 1, 15, 29 & November 12
Mondays 8-9pm: October 5, 19 & November 2, 16
Are there any other books you'd be interested in discussing in future book clubs?
