Women's Chorus Volunteer Sign Up
Hello and thank you for your interest in the Women's Chorus! We are excited at the prospect of you joining our wonderful community! The Women's Chorus meets at Church of the Covenant on Newbury Street. Regular Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11am. Private voice/piano/theory lessons occur Thursdays from 11:30-1:30pm

WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING VOLUNTEER CATEGORIES:
1) Section Vocal Coaches — during rehearsals Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9-11am.Vocal Coaches will sit in the section and contribute to each section by giving the singers tips on how to sing better. They would also do "pull-outs" where they might bring a singer or two and take them out to give them more personal attention on a song they might be struggling with. Vocal Coaches would also act as liaisons between the conductors and the different sections of the chorus.

2) Private Voice/Piano/Theory Teachers — Thursdays from 11:30-1:30pm. The Private Teachers will meet individually with the members of the Women's Chorus at Women's Lunch Place to give private lessons in either Voice, Piano, or Music Theory (how to read music notes and rhythms).

3) Administrative & Support Volunteers — This position can be a flexible position and is better suited for someone who might not be able to make any of the set rehearsal/meeting times but would still like to contribute. We will be in touch about how to create a role that would be best suited to what you have to offer.
