CalECSE Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator Application
The CalECSE Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitators will be selected in regions across California and will provide linkages between LEAs and other agencies within their region to the supports that exist within the CalECSE Network.  The Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitators will participate in ongoing meetings with the CalECSE Leadership & Exemplar Leads, receiving specific training to assist them in responsibilities of building capacity, knowledge, collaboration and implementation of evidence-based practices within their region.  

Each LEA or agency participating as a Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator will have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years, memorializing the responsibilities of the participating agency and their identified Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator under the project.  The MOU will also indicate the funding the agency and identified Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator will receive for completion of the responsibilities.

Annual Responsibilities of the Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator:
Attend up to 4 days of in-person meetings/CalECSE Summits
Attend up to 12 CalECSE Meetings via Zoom
Available for contact with CalECSE Leadership & Exemplar Leads
Available for contact with agencies within your region

Funding for participation in the CalECSE Network is projected to be as follows (may vary based on applicants):
2022-2023 School Year-
Participating Agency- $20,000
Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator- $4,000 Stipend
Travel Reimbursement- Up to $2,500

2023-2024 School Year-
Participating Agency- $20,000
Geographic Technical Assistance Facilitator- $4,000 Stipend
Travel Reimbursement- Up to $2,500

Applications must be submitted by agency employees with decision making authority (i.e. Assistant Superintendents, SELPA Directors, Special Education Director, Regional Center Directors, etc.).  Applications must be submitted by Friday, August 19th at 4:00PM PST. Selected applicants will be notified and must accept terms of the MOU by Friday, September 30th, 2022. The CalECSE Network is seeking a Northern California Project Coordinator to work alongside the 1.0FTE CalECSE Project Coordinator located in Southern California.  If you are a Northern California Agency, would you be interested in having your identified lead participate as a full to part-time Project Coordinator through a separate Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that includes funding and support? *
