In order to raise awareness a of the impacts invasive species have on our communities and leverage funding and support, we need to educate our elected officials. Currently, the lower shore is the only region in State without any staff dedicated to combating the invasive species problems we face. Would you feel comfortable contacting your District's Commissioner/Council Member? If so, contact information and a template on what to say can be sent to your email.  At the end of the day our elected officials represent us, and if we are saying there is a problem, they need to hear it. Your testimony would greatly advance the cause. *
