One Read Flash Fiction Contest 2019
In this year’s One Read selection, author Jessica Bruder explores the real lives of folks who live on the road in order to follow seasonal work; they live in a constant state of transition, from one place to the next, from one job to the next.

Taking inspiration from “Nomadland,” we invite you to tell a story of transition in 250 words or less. Your story can be about anything and anyone, but make sure it elicits the notion of transition, of a journey, be it literal or personal.
