The OCC GATE grants will facilitate a project designed to enhance GATE instruction in the classroom. These grants will be awarded for a project that other funds do not or cannot finance. The objective of the grant is to provide funding for a project that would otherwise not be possible. Grants will be awarded on November 16th at the OCC GATE Conference. We especially enjoy funding proposals that involve unique experiences for gifted students. OCC GATE does not fund the purchase of technology to supplement school technology inventory (ipad / Chromebook / etc) unless the technology is stand alone, directly related to gifted student instruction.
