NEMLA Fall 2018 Meeting Expense Grant
The New England chapter of the Music Library Association [NEMLA] is now accepting applications for grant support to attend the Fall chapter meeting [NOV 8-9, 2018] in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to be held jointly with the New York State/Ontario chapter of MLA and the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres [SQACBM].

The $400 of support may be awarded to a single individual or divided among as many as three awardees at the discretion of the NEMLA Board.
Preference will be given to current or recent MLS graduate students or new library professionals.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must reside in the New England region [Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont]
Grant recipients must be NEMLA members at the time of the award
Grants may cover hotel, travel, meals, registration

Preference will be given to applicants who are:
---A graduate library school student (at the time of the meeting) interested in music librarianship as a career path
---A recent library school graduate (within one year of completing degree) seeking a professional position as a music librarian
---A music librarian (holding a Master of Library Science degree or qualifications granting an equivalent status at their employing institution) in the first two years of their professional career
---A library paraprofessional working with music materials as a significant portion of their job responsibilities

- Standard double rate = ca $155 US

- morning = English language sessions
[lunch provided]
-afternoon = possible English language sessions
= Business meetings for NYS/O and SQACBM, but NOT NEMLA
