Recruiter Program: Volunteer with Never Search Alone
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering to provide *advice* (not job leads) to job seekers who are part of the Never Search Alone (NSA) community and who need your expertise and insights as they craft their Candidate-Market Fit (for more about our community go to Phyl.org).

You are *not* obligating yourself to many calls a month – the # of calls is up to you and how many work for your schedule this could be 1 call per week or up to 20 calls a month (you have total control over which job seekers you elect to help – and they will not see your name or email ahead of time). Calls are scheduled for 30 minutes, but we suggest you allow for a bit extra: 5-10 minutes to review the job seekers profile, and 5-15 minutes in the event the call goes over or for follow up items. 

How this Actually Works

Recruiters who are part of this volunteer initiative are added to our roster.  Job seekers fill out a request form asking for an advice session with a recruiter. 

We match the recruiter and the job seeker as best we can based on role/profile, and connect the two of you. 

You coordinate the time. We give you a suggested call structure in the event the job seeker isn't prepared with questions. After the call, we ask that you send a short survey link. 

You will also need to update the call status in our database. 

That's it. Pretty straightforward. We're also continuing to refine our process as this was just rolled out as a pilot earlier this year.  

About Never Search Alone

The Never Search Alone community is a volunteer-driven community that supports job seekers around the world to learn how to look for good jobs using the NSA methodology, including, importantly, joining a Job Search Council (mutual support group).

All of our services are free and volunteer-driven and include matching job seekers to Job Search Councils, live training and support, additional tools, templates, and LinkedIn Live sessions – as well as services like this recruiter network.

To date, we have launched 3,000+ Job Search Councils and helped more than 20,000 job seekers with our free programs.
