The European Commission has recently launched a new initiative to "Increase digitalisation awareness and readiness of EU communities". The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities that are at the beginning or in the early stages of their digital transformation journey, by providing resources, best practices and training for the development of digitalisation strategies.

Vefresh is part of this initiative as a member of the Smart Communities Network: the network of networks endorsed by the European Commission whose main objectives include raising awareness, trying to facilitate the process of digital transformation, as well as improving the connectivity and operational efficiency of European communities in an increasingly digital world.

With the support of a consortium of organisations, we are organising this hybrid dissemination session and follow-up training sessions to engage with our respective cities and local communities, to improve their awareness and preparedness in their green and digital transition journey.
