Enroot Tutor and Mentor Application

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
Mentors meet 1:1 with their mentee 1-2 hours a week. The mentoring relationship lasts one academic year (October-June), with the hope that pairs will continue for multiple years when possible. Mentors help with language and communication skills, relationship building skills, postsecondary planning, career exploration, and more - every relationship is a little different. Mentors participate in 4-6 hours of training in the fall.

Tutors meet 1:1 with a student once a week to provide help with one or more academic subjects and/or test preparation. It's important for tutors to be able to commit to 1½ hours at the same time each week for an academic semester. Tutors participate in a two hour training in the fall.
