Boardman Band                                                        Jazz Class Request for 24-25 School Year
If you are currently involved in the Boardman Jazz Program (8th Grade Jazz, BHS Jazz Ensembles 1 and 2, and 2k24), I hope you are planning to stay involved for next school year. This form will help you plan your schedule. High school students not currently in one of the groups but interested in joining should use this to let me know you would like to be considered.  

In most cases, I will consider the openings in the classes and make placements. Auditions should only be necessary in a few scenarios.

* 2k25 is a great way for you to be in Jazz if you don't have room on your schedule

The most serious music students may want to be in both Jazz Ensembles. You must be absolutely certain that you have room on your schedule. Most Freshman and Sophomores will not have room to do this.

2kxx is NOT a class at BHS. It is Boardman's Pop/Rock Band that plays at some school and community events. It includes horns, guitars, piano, bass, drums, percussion, and vocals.  It meets Mon. and Tues. after school.
