2020 GRASP Financial Aid Application
At Bay Area Girls Rock Camp, it is our mission is to be accessible to all girls regardless of their families’ financial situation. For Girls Rock After School Program (GRASP), we offer a sliding scale tuition of $0-$450. Applying for financial aid will not affect your chances of getting into a program and we encourage you to ask for assistance if you need it. If you are able to pay the full tuition of $350 for one day per week enrollment or $450 for Tuesday and Thursday enrollment, do not fill out this form. You may be contacted for a follow-up phone interview.
Financial aid guidelines:
The following serves only as a guideline, and is not a strict determination of how much financial aid you will receive. Please consider your family income, resources, and dependents in the household when determining your financial aid request amount. This process is honor-based and confidential.
Household income under $40,000:
Tuition range = $0-$50.
(Most of our full financial aid goes to campers from households with a total annual income of less than $25,000).
Household income between $40,000 and $55,000:
Tuition range = $50-$175.
(Please indicate how much you can pay for tuition or request full financial aid if needed - i.e. if you have several dependents, recent job loss, medical hardship, etc.).
Household income between $55,000 and $75,000:
Tuition range = $175-$325.
(We generally grant financial aid to families within this income range only if they have multiple dependents or extenuating circumstances).
Household income above $75,000:
We are generally able to consider financial aid for this income range only in extreme, extenuating circumstances. We cannot grant financial aid due to the camper being enrolled in multiple elective activities. However, if you feel you need financial assistance, please submit a financial aid form with an explanation, and we will review it. Due to our limited funds, we cannot afford to grant every financial aid request, and we prioritize families with the greatest need.
