Imagine there is an app with which you can whisper on the phone, while the person on the other side of the line perceives your own normal and natural voice without delay (thus not realizing that you are actually whispering). The app is not meant to be a "cure" to never stutter again. It is a tool that you can use in those situations where it helps you and feels good to you. Does this idea appeal to you? *
