GPSG Student Services Manager Award Nomination Form (2024)
The Graduate School and the Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) are co-sponsoring the Student Services Manager Award. This award was established in 2016 and recognizes outstanding service provided by the Student Services Manager for an academic department. Student Service Managers are an essential part of the support system for graduate and professional students in everything from advising and financial aid to personal encouragement and mentorship. 

The award shall be given to a current Student Services Manager at UNC Chapel Hill. The responsibilities of Student Services Managers vary, depending on the size and complexity of their academic units. Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, the following: registering students in classes and troubleshooting enrollment issues, coordinating scheduling and additional program requirements, coordinating the graduation ceremony for their unit, collaborating with their faculty administrators to prepare class schedules/teaching assignments, supporting student organizations or student activities, or helping faculty to administer various elements of the undergraduate curriculum and programs in their unit.

Nominations are due by Wednesday, March 6th at 11:59 PM.  The winners of this award will be announced at the Graduate Student Recognition Event on April 4th, 2024.
