CCRC - 5Rights Webinar on Children’s Right to Privacy in the Digital World:

Data is used to drive many norms of the digital world, and how children’s data are collected, shared, and used impacts every aspect of their digital experience and wider lives.

Featuring perspectives from leading voices in civil society and academia, this webinar will be an opportunity to discuss the monetisation of children’s personal information, how children’s right to privacy applies in the digital world, and its importance to the realisation of children’s rights as a whole.

5Rights will also present the joint submission for sign on to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s exploratory consultation on a children’s privacy code.
