Appointments to Board of Student Publications
The Board of Student Publications is looking for two representatives to the Board of Student Publications, which oversees The Daily. They need one representative for a one-year term, and one representative for a two-year term.
The board generally meets once each month, and usually around 3 pm or later. The department's finances are reviewed, and policy decisions are made. The board also hires the editor in chief and advertising manager of The Daily in the spring.
They typically meet on the third Thursday of the month in the past, but each group picks the most convenient time to meet.
Any student interested in mass media, journalism, publications, or management is encouraged to apply!
