Learning Is For Everyone (LIFE) is a MyVision social business, operating in partnership with the Management Undergraduate Society (MUS), that seeks to provide affordable, high quality academic and personal mentoring to students from all walks of life identified as being in need of such services. Mentors will be assisting at-risk youth around Montreal in collaboration with different centres to create a positive social impact and shape the next generation of innovators.
Our mission is to reduce the high school dropout rate in Montreal using the principles of social business. LIFE aims at providing children and teens around Montreal with intimate workshops on themes such as personal development, social cohesion and innovation to help them find and trust their passions and selves.
As a student-run initiative/business we hire students from McGill who are dedicated to making a change around them and passionate about sharing their knowledge with younger people. This year, the workshops will take place at Youth In Motion in Little Burgundy and Youth United in Parc-Extension.
