School year planning 2021-22 (High School)
The Maine Department of Education currently requires all school districts to have a plan for in-classroom instruction (green model), hybrid learning (yellow model), and remote learning (red model). The DOE however does not require districts to offer a choice of these models at the same time.
As we begin to plan for the upcoming 2021-22 school year, It is important that we gather the following information to assist us as we determine the instructional structures for the coming school year.
If we were to offer the chance for your high school child(ren) to apply to be a remote learning student next school year, what is the likelihood your child(ren) would apply for remote learning?
Note: Remote learning approval may be subject to past remote learning success and/or an underlying medical condition that prevents a student from attending school in person.
Yes, I would consider remote learning for my child(ren)
No, I prefer my child(ren) to be in school.
