Chapter Open Board Pilot Program Registration

The term "community board member" refers to a member of the chapter board who is not a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Community board members must be Board Members-At-Large and may not hold other Chapter titles or positions.

    Agreement

    The chapter agrees that on December 31, 2016, it shall terminate the Community Board Positions unless the Society Board makes additional amendments to the Standard Chapter By-laws or takes other specific action to extend the trial period for the Community Board Member Pilot Program. The chapter agrees to submit a semi-annual report to Society headquarters on June 30 and December 31 of each year that provides the following information: a. Background/qualifications of such Community Board Members b. Activities/programs that Community Board Members initiated or participated in c. Progress toward achievement of the goals and improvements enumerated in the chapter’s registration d. General overall impact or effectiveness of Community Board Members in advancing the goals and objectives of the chapter
