Class Information:

G4/5 English:

This course contains the training of students' reading comprehension and writing skills. Our instructor provides the group discussion and short response writing practice during the class time. With the guidance, students deeply understand the article/story contents and master the basic annotating skills. In term of writing, students will complete summaries, narrative and informative essays. Sentence and paragraph structure will be emphasized. Grammar and spelling will be worked on as needed throughout the course. There will be homework each week.

Instructor:

Ms. Sabine is an experienced educator. She is a native speaker of both English and French. Ms. Sabine has over 15 years of experience in teaching and program development, with expertise in literature. She has taught students from all grade levels, including preparing them for AP Exams. Ms. Sabine has also trained and supervised new teachers and managed three learning centers with over 300 students in each. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in French and English Literature, and has completed a teaching credential in English. Sabine is currently working as a High School teacher.
