How can we support you in healing from and processing racial injustice?
Path with Art's mission is to provide support and healing for those experiencing trauma. We recognize that the unjust death of George Floyd and the violent response to peaceful protests have been traumatic for many in our community. For some, these events have been eye-opening. For others, this moment has been a breaking point and a continuation of a long history of racial oppression.

We have already heard from students, collaborators, and community members that there is a lot we can be doing as an organization to provide support and healing to our students during these times. We want to hear from more of you, especially our Black students and students of color, to learn how we can best support you and respond in this moment.

We strive to make our programming student-driven and responsive to the needs of our community. This is why it is so important that we hear your voice. Please know all questions are optional. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time and energy to share your thoughts, needs, and dreams with us here at Path with Art.

Path with Art would like to offer opportunities for our students to process this moment through art, creativity, and discussion. These are a few suggestions that have come up in our recent conversations. Please let us know which of these opportunities you would like to see at Path with Art in the coming weeks.
Thinking beyond the immediate moment, how would you like to see Path with Art incorporate anti-racist work into our programming long-term?
We acknowledge that it can be difficult to heal from traumas that are still occurring, and we know full-well that racism is a daily reality for our students of color, but in the spirit of fostering resiliency, we encourage you to share any creative practices you've developed to process the impact of racial inequity and injustice.
